Brain Training & Cognitive Tests
Free brain training tools to measure and improve your cognitive performance. Reaction time, aim, typing speed, and memory — track your progress over time, no signup required.
Reaction Time Test
Measure your visual reaction time in milliseconds. 5 trials with instant percentile ranking and age-group benchmarks.
🔴Aim Trainer
Click accuracy and speed training. Track targets per minute — used by gamers to improve flick shots and tracking aim.
⌨️Typing Speed Test
Measure WPM and accuracy with timed typing challenges. A practical measure of cognitive throughput and motor coordination.
🧩Sequence Memory
Remember and reproduce increasingly complex visual patterns. Tests spatial working memory and pattern recognition.
🔢Number Memory
Test your digit span — how many numbers can you hold in working memory? A classic cognitive psychology measure.
Why Train Your Brain?
Cognitive training targets specific mental skills through repeated, structured practice. Just as you train muscles at the gym, you can train your brain's processing speed, working memory, and attention. Our tools are built on well-established cognitive psychology paradigms — the reaction time test measures simple visual processing speed (used in sports science and clinical neurology), the digit span test (Number Memory) is drawn directly from the WAIS intelligence battery, and the sequence memory test adapts the Corsi block-tapping task used in neuropsychological assessment.
How to Build a Brain Training Routine
The key to effective brain training is variety and consistency. Here is a sample daily routine:
Morning (5 min): Start with the Reaction Time Test to establish your baseline alertness. Morning reaction times are typically 10-20 ms faster than evening scores.
Midday (5 min): Run the Aim Trainer or Typing Speed Test to engage motor-coordination circuits.
Evening (5 min): Finish with Sequence Memory or Number Memory — working memory tasks are more challenging when fatigued, making evening practice more effective for building capacity.
Track Your Progress Without an Account
All scores and history are saved locally in your browser using localStorage. No account, no server, no data collection. Your cognitive data stays on your device, private and secure. Come back anytime on the same browser to see your improvement over days, weeks, and months.
