Element Blocks — Play Free Online
Classic block puzzle. Drag and drop pieces to clear rows. How long can you last?
How to Play Element Blocks
Element Blocks is a block puzzle game inspired by classic Tetris. Wooden-style blocks appear at the bottom of the screen. Your task: drag each block onto the grid and fit it into the right position. When you complete a full row or column, it clears — freeing up space for more blocks. The game ends when there's no room left for new pieces.
Unlike Tetris where pieces fall automatically, Element Blocks gives you time to think. You can see the next pieces and plan your placement strategy. This makes it more strategic and less frantic — perfect for casual play.
Element Blocks Tips & Strategy
- Clear multiple lines at once: Plan your placements to set up double or triple clears for higher scores
- Keep the center open: Place blocks toward the edges first — a full center column is hard to recover from
- Look ahead: You can see the next 3 pieces — plan 2-3 moves ahead
- Don't chase perfect placement: Sometimes a "good enough" spot beats waiting for the perfect fit
- Use small pieces as fillers: Save 1×1 and 2×1 blocks to fill gaps created by larger pieces

Tips to Master Element Blocks
- Keep the board flat: Prioritize placing blocks to fill gaps and level the surface — a bumpy board traps awkward shapes and kills runs faster than anything else
- Save the long straight piece: The 1x4 I-block is your emergency tool — hold it for clearing a full row or filling a deep gap rather than using it casually
- Build from the corners in: Place your first blocks against the edges of the board — this leaves the center open for the larger, irregular shapes that come later
- Look two pieces ahead: The game previews the next three blocks — scan all three before placing the current one so you don't accidentally block the only spot for an upcoming piece
- Don't chase single-line clears: In block puzzles, clearing one line at a time is a trap — aim to set up multi-line clears by leaving one column open for the straight piece
Element Blocks is a marathon, not a sprint. A slow start with clean placement always outlasts a fast start with messy stacking.
